After breakfast, meet your guide in the lobby between 8:30-10:00 am for your travel documents. At 1:30 pm leave for 3-hr city tour of Copenhagen. This introduction to the city includes the “Storget” – the pedestrian walking street, Tivoli Gardens, the National Museum, the Old Stock exchange, Nyhavn, Geifion Fountain, Amelienborg Palace and ending with the famous Little Mermaid. Christiansborg Palace and Rosenborg Castle will also be on the day adventures! Enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure.

Copenhagen – Oslo

The morning is free to take a canal tour or get that last special souvenir. Mid afternoon take a transfer to the DFDS dock for your overnight ferry. A wonderful smorgasbord and delightful entertainment awaits!

Oslo – Lofthus

Enjoy breakfast while sailing into the beautiful Oslo fjord. Disembark to your private coach and travel through Hønefoss, Nesbyen with its beautiful forests and lakes and the Hallingdal Valley. Continue on to Gol and the mountainside city of Geilo. The day culminates with a drive to the Hardanger fjord and ends in lovely Lofthus, home to Edvard Grieg’s many works. Dinner is included at this charming hotel on the fjord.

Lofthus – Bergen

Rise for breakfast before taking a short ferry in Kinsarvik that weaves its way along the Hardanger fjord. After arriving in Kvandal continue by coach through Nordheimsund with its forests of birches, prior to reaching the hanseatic city of Bergen. Take a panoramic 3-hr tour of the city known as the capital of the fjords. Sites to see include St. Mary’s Church, Haakon’s Hall, The Fish and Flower Markets, and the old Bryggen area. Bergen – Flam – Balestrand

Awake for a day that won’t disappoint! Begin traveling to the historic town of Voss. From here you board the train that crosses an impressive mountain plateau en route to Myrdal. In Myrdal, connect to the famous Flam railway, descending down for spectacular view of the countryside. Take some time in this quaint fjord village before embarking on the ferry that crosses the mighty Sognefjord – the longest and deepest fjord in Norway. Balestrand – Loen

Today’s journey begins with a drive to Dragsvik for another short ferry ride to Hella. Venture further through several picturesque villages and forests before arriving in Skei. Here lies Europe’s biggest mainland glacier, Jostedalsbreen. After relishing in a short retreat continue passed Loen and on to the breathtaking Briksdal Glacier. Get ready for an experience of a lifetime – a ride in a “Troll car” to the very snout of the glacier and witness firsthand the amazing blue ice. Late afternoon arrive in scenic Loen, surrounded by more impressive mountains and fjords.

Loen –Geiranger – Loen

Your memorable journey continues via Hella for the ferry that crosses the dramatic Geiranger Fjord. Experience first hand why this fjord is on the UNESCO’s World Heritage list, situated among lush mountains and breathtaking waterfalls. Enjoy lunch as you meander into unspoiled landscape near Geiranger at the famous Union Hotel. After lunch, travel by coach up 1500 meters above sea level, to see the fantastic view at Dalsnibba point. Return to hotel in Loen for dinner.

Leave Loen for a visit to Norway’s oldest Stave church in Lom – dating back to the 12th century. Say farewell to the fjords area in central Norway and proceed via Otta to the unique capital city of Oslo!
