This is a 4 day/3 night extension to the Past and Present Tour. Uncover the allure of one the world’s greatest cities, Moscow while taking a historical journey with Russian hospitality!

Day 1/Day 6: Moscow – Vladimir – Suzdal Rise for an early departure at 8:00 am. Upon arriving in Vladimir at 11:00 am take a city tour that includes the Golden Gates and Uspensky (Assumption) Cathedral. Depart and arrive in Suzdal at 2:00 pm. for more city sites including a visit to the Kremlin Spaso-Evfimievsky monastery and the open air museum of wooden architecture. The day ends with dinner at the hotel in Suzdal.

Day 2/Day 7: Suzdal – Ples – Kostroma – Yaroslavl After breakfast, depart around 9:30 am to the city of Kostroma. Along the way a stop will be made in Ples, for a taste of Russian Hospitality. In the “Izba”- the wooden house - you will be greeted by some native Russians for a delightful sampling of traditional cooking and a peak at some of their impressive handcrafts. Venture on and arrive in Kostroma at 2:00 pm for a city tour including Ipatievsky Monastery and the Church of Resurrection-on-Debra. Culminate for dinner at the hotel in the city of Yaroslavl.

Day 3/Day 8: Yaroslavl – Rostov-the-Great – Peryaslavl-Zalessky – Zagorsk – Moscow Enjoy another traditional breakfast before an 8:30 am city tour of Yaroslavl including a visit to the Transfiguration Monastery. Continue on to Rostov-the-Great and a photo stop in Pereyaslavl-Zalessky. Lunch will be served in Zagorsk as well as a visit to St. Trinity – Sergius Monastery. Arrive late evening back in Moscow for an overnight.
